About PLS College, Jattichak, Masaurhi (Patna)

The College was founded in 1980 by the local educationist’s, intellectuals and social workers of Masaurhi Sub-division in Patna district of Bihar and was named after veteran social activist Late Pannu Lal Singh.

The College is situated in Masaurhi Sub-division of Patna district and about 1.5 Km. away from the Taregna Railway Station of Patna- Gaya section. It is 31.5 Km. South of Patna. It is permanently affiliated to Patliputra University, Patna and registered under section 2(f) and 12 B of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. After the division of erstwhile Magadh University in 2018, now the college comes under Patliputra University, Patna.

The institutional policy pertaining to quality assurance is-

  1. Sharing of resources and infrastructures for optimum educational utilization.
  2. Motivating teachers for remaining updated in their field with recent information for the benefit of students.
  3. Developments of professional skills among teachers as well as office staff.
  4. Quality teaching and learning process supported by ICT enabled teaching along with traditional teaching.
